Our Professional Teambuilding program adapted for school-based teams!
Build trust and increase communication strategies, have fun, and relate experiences back to student learning and instructional practice.
The combination of ground initiatives, problem-solving exercises, and optional high-ropes challenge course provides a diverse learning experience for every individual.

THRIVING CLASSROOM PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Thriving Classroom professional development series is built specifically for educators and facilitated by Outward Bound instructors.
Connect with your colleagues in a supportive learning environment and discover new skills for engaging your students in learning. Walk away with the ability to translate these skills into tangible plans that support your classrooms’ social and emotional needs.
OVERVIEW
Our current offerings include 10 sessions that can be delivered individually or in progressions of 6, 3, or 2 sessions.
Available on-site at your school, or at Outward Bound's program sites.
Workshops are engaging, hands-on, and discussion heavy.
Sessions run 3 hours and are best fits for groups of Middle and High School Educators.
EDUCATORS EXPEDITION
Our 5 day canoe expedition for educators combines the best of expeditionary learning and Outward Bound practice. Educators will examine the OB progression of Training, Main, and Final and examine its implications in the classroom; create supportive personal and professional connections; and evaluate the theory and practice of experiential social-emotional learning.
Our Educators Expedition is approved for MD State CPD's and aligns with DC requirements for PLU's
